Grow Your Own Vegetable Garden: The Easy Way!

Updated: Aug 10, 2022

Gardening season is upon us! 🌱

Did you know that you can use your kitchen scraps to grow your own food? Many leftovers can be placed right in soil, watered, and voila! you have your own vegetable garden. Pictured above are celery, romaine lettuce and garlic that I have planted from my own kitchen.

There are many other vegetables and herbs that you can experiment with. Check out the video below for a thorough look at how to grow ginger, green onions, garlic, potatoes, carrots, lettuce, leeks, celery, basil, mint, rosemary, thyme, oregano, and sage. It is best to use organic produce if you are going to plant your scraps.

You can keep the plants indoors or plant outside once the nighttime temperature is consistently above 5 degrees Celsius. Happy gardening!
